Act2Recovery is an assessment-led Injury Rehabilitation & Sports Massage Clinic for runners, gym-goers, athletes, desk-based professionals and active adults.
We provide Clinic as well as home-visit based sports massage, deep tissue massage and Injury specific Rehabilitation support across Newcastle upon Tyne.
Act2Recovery was founded by Vishnu Bhure, a MSK Physio, Sports Scientist and ITEC-qualified Sports Massage Therapist. His education includes an MSc in Musculoskeletal Sports Science and Health from Loughborough University, an ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy with Distinction, and a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy completed in India.
In the UK, Act2Recovery is focused on professional sports massage, soft-tissue work and Injury specific Rehabilitation support.
Every appointment begins with a conversation about what you are feeling, what your training or working week has involved, and what you want from the session.
Treatment is then adapted to your current needs. That might mean addressing training-related tightness, heavy legs after running, stiffness from long hours at a desk, or general muscular fatigue.
Your session may include sports massage, deep tissue techniques, mobility work and straightforward aftercare. There is no fixed routine and no pressure to add treatments you do not need. We explain what we are doing, why it may be useful and what you can do after the session. Your comfort and consent remain central throughout.
Sports massage is not only for competitive athletes. Act2Recovery works with:
You do not need to be injured to book a session. Many clients use sports massage to manage muscular tightness, support recovery during demanding training blocks or feel more comfortable after physically demanding or desk-heavy weeks.
Our role is to support recovery, movement comfort and sensible load management. We do not diagnose medical conditions or promise that massage will prevent injury.
If your symptoms fall outside the scope of sports massage or raise a safety concern, we will explain that clearly and recommend assessment from the appropriate registered healthcare professional.
